Supports Scherz for Verona Town Council

To the Editor:

I just wanted to give my opinion on a person who is running for Town of Verona Councilman: Fred Scherz, Jr., otherwise known as Fritz, has lived in Verona his whole life. I have been lucky enough to have known him for more than 37 years and consider him a very good friend and neighbor. We have lived next door to him and his family for the better part of 30 years.

Fritz comes from a great family with solid roots in this town. I trust him and his family to always do things right and fair. When Fritz came to me and said he was running for this position, I knew the reason was so the people of this town can have fair and impartial treatment. Fritz has always been one for fair treatment.

I feel strong enough about Fritz as a person to ask the people of Verona to come out and vote for the person who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated. With Fritz’s background, work history and ethics, we as a town cannot afford to pass up the chance to vote for Fritz.
