Fritz’s Polka Band to Perform at Tucker Benefit

(Verona, NY – Jan. 31, 2010) Jagermeister-sponsored, Fritz’s Polka Band (FPB), from Verona will be performing at a benefit for Isaac J. Tucker on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Verona Fire Hall (5555 Volunteer Ave.) in Verona, NY. FPB is scheduled to start the music portion of the benefit at 1pm and perform until about 2pm or so.

Performing after FPB until 5pm will be the band Painted Black.

Isaac is just 8 years old and has been battling Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia T-cell cancer for 19 months. The cost will be $10 per adult and $5 per child younger than 12.

“The guys in FPB were saddened to hear of Isaac having leukemia,” said Fritz Scherz, band leader of FPB. “The guys in FPB are looking forward to performing for this event, and it’ll be great to share the stage with our friends in Painted Black. Everyone involved with the benefit is hopeful of a great turnout on the 31st for Issac.”
