Zogby Announces Major Investment

Dear Friends:

(Utica, NY) I would like you to be the first to know about our exciting news. Today, when so many of the headlines are dominated by financial downturn and dismal economic news, I’m pleased to offer something different, namely news of global expansion and development. While many are cutting back, we at Zogby International are moving forward and leading our company into the next economy.

Over the past year, we have worked closely with a Brazilian opinion research group, IBOPE (the Brazilian Institute of Public Opinion and Statistics), on an agreement in which Zogby International will receive a substantial investment from IBOPE.

This investment represents an opportunity for growth and opens an exciting new chapter for Zogby International. With this investment, Zogby International has an opportunity to set more aggressive sales and profitability goals, develop new products and expand into new methodologies that will continue to keep us ahead of the curve.

We have set three overarching goals for ourselves as we expand into new areas: developing more insights into the future to better serve our clients, being the smartest and most forward looking in our field, and fostering staff curiosity and skill development. Using those goals as a guide, we will continue to thrive and better serve our clients in the new economy.

Zogby International’s headquarters and call center will remain in Utica, NY, where we have been located since the company’s founding in 1984. Our partnership with IBOPE, which is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, will flow through our Utica, NY headquarters. Zogby International will maintain its offices in Washington, DC and Miami, FL. And while we expand into new technologies, we will continue the operation of our Utica-based call center and the expansion of our Zogby Interactive panel.

Finally, let me say thank you. Thank you for your interest and participation over the past 25 years to help make Zogby International one of the leading polling firms that it is today.
