(UTICA, NY) Utica College’s Edith Langley Barrett Fine Art Gallery will host the Utica Camera Club for its annual juried exhibition of local photographers beginning Monday, Oct. 5.
On opening day, there will be a reception and question and answer session from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with members of the club. The public is encouraged to bring their cameras to the opening and take advantage of the opportunity to learn valuable tips and approaches to photography from members of the club. The event is free and open to the public.
The exhibit will be on display until Oct. 30. Hours for the gallery are Monday through Friday 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 12 to 3 p.m.
The Utica Camera Club includes enthusiastic photographers of all ages and levels of experience with an interest in promoting photography as a skill and as an art. “Within our group are people just beginning to explore self expression with a camera to those who have won many awards both locally and on [the] state and national levels,” according to the club’s website.
