Trooper stops to check on the welfare of a motorist and finds marijuana
(New York State Police) On 10/09/09, Thomas J. Helmer, 25, of 1416 Burrstone Rd., Utica, NY was arrested by the New York State Police, Schuyler for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after a Trooper found him on the side of the Thruway and stopped to check on his welfare.
Helmer was released to appear in the Town of Herkimer Court on 10/27/09 at 6:00 pm.
