(Utica, NY) Renowned international pollster John Zogby will be the featured speaker at the University of Ulster’s Belfast Campus on Dec. 4, 2009, where he will share his insight on “Global Citizenship and the 21st Century World.”
The Distinguished International Visitor’s Address is a series of master classes with international experts from a range of communications fields, hosted by the University of Ulster’s School of Communication. This will be the third DIVA visitor’s address.
Zogby is President and CEO of Zogby International, a worldwide research and marketing firm based in Utica, New York, with offices in Washington D.C. and Miami, FL. Zogby is a much-sought-after lecturer, panelist, and author who has been published in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Christian Science Monitor, and Boston Globe, in addition to his columns for Politics magazine and Forbes.com. He is a global speaker on politics and trends, and was a key commentator with the BBC on the 2008 U.S. Presidential elections.
During the DIVA 3 event, Zogby will speak about findings gleaned from years of research, many of which are also featured in his book, The Way We’ll Be: The Zogby Report on the Transformation of the American Dream. The Way We’ll Be shows that the conventional wisdom about the United States – that we’re isolated from the world, politically fragmented, and inclined toward material pleasure – isn’t just flawed; it may be 180 degrees from the truth. In this far-reaching and illuminating look at contemporary American life, John Zogby draws on thousands of in-depth surveys to reveal where America is headed-politically, culturally, and spiritually.
