Players of Utica Theatre
1108 State Street, Utica
(Utica, NY) Players of Utica, New York State’s oldest, continuously producing community theatre, presents the Third Annual First Eve, a one-of-a-kind New Years Eve celebration for the whole family!
This year, our presentation will be at the Players of Utica Theatre in Utica from 6:00-9:00 pm on December 31. The black-box community space will be transformed into a sparkling wonderland with trees, lights and decorations. The theme for this year’s event is “2010 WE BEGIN AGAIN” exemplifying a new beginning for the organization as we move toward completion of our new theatre.
Adults and children will be treated to a wonderful buffet dinner including three elegant entrée choices, vegetables, pasta, soft drinks, coffee, tea and dessert. This year, parents and children will dine together.
In addition, we have planned a special evening of entertainment by Players of Utica Alumni performing musical selections. We will end the night (around 9:00 pm) with an original production by the children in attendance. The children will learn and rehearse an original production to be presented to the adults at the end of the night.
Our prices are reasonable at $40 single, $65 couple or $85 for a family (two adults and up to four children).
This is a wonderful and fun opportunity for parents and grandparents to celebrate the New Year with their children while still having time for other plans later in the evening.
Seating is limited and reservations are required. To reserve your seats, go to: www.playersofutica.org/firsteve or call 315.724.7624.
