Senator Joseph Griffo to Keynote at Awards Ceremony
(Utica, NY) The Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Mohawk Valley Business Journal, has recently selected the finalists for the 2009 “Business of the Year Awards”. Senator Joseph Griffo will be the keynote speaker for the event, which is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 10th at Harts Hill Inn, Whitesboro.
Awards will be presented to winners in four separate categories. The categories include Business with over 50 employees; Business with 50 employees or fewer; Not-for-profit with over 50 employees; and Not-for-profit with 50 employees or fewer. Finalists were evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:
1) Staying power, response to challenges, product(s)/ services(s) innovation; growth within their industry
2) Commitment to the Mohawk Valley Region – longevity in region; community involvement; public service; business leadership and
3) Involvement in the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Strategic Financial Services, LLC The Peacemaker Program
The cost to attend the awards luncheon is $30 per person or $240 for a table of eight. Seating is limited and advanced registration is required. This event will sell out.
