Nye Salesman Reaches Milestone

Sells 1,300 vehicles since joining team

(Oneida Nov. 17, 2009) Nye Automotive Group is pleased to welcome salesperson Jeff Gifford. He joined Nye in March of this year, and presently is employed at the company’s Toyota dealership. Recently, Gifford reached a career milestone with the sale of his 1,300^th vehicle.

Prior to his position at Nye, Gifford worked in sales and finance at Carbone Honda for five years. While his duties lie primarily with the Toyota dealership at Nye, Gifford said that he enjoys helping his customers fulfill any automotive need they may have.

“I love working with people,” said Gifford. “I look at what I do from the standpoint that it’s not just a job, it’s my lifestyle.”

Gifford is a lifelong resident of Rome and currently lives there with his family. Aside from his work at Nye, he is an avid golfer and is a member of the Rome Country Club.

Gifford would like to invite his past customers to stop by the Toyota store and say hello. “I love the CNY community and this area. Working in automotive sales has given me the chance to meet a lot of great people and make new friends,” he said.

Nye Automotive Group is located at 1479 Genesee Street in Oneida, and can be reached at 315-363-0600. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
