(Verona – Nov.21, 2009) 4-H members from Oneida County gathered at the Verona Fire Hall to be recognized for their past years accomplishments in leadership, citizenship as well as for participation in traditional animal and home environment projects.

This year’s award recipients are:

Katie Lastowski was selected as the Outstanding 4-Her for 2009, she will attend the Capital Days trip to Albany in 2010.  Meghan Vaill received the Outstanding Animal Award and will be attending Cornell’s Career Exploration Day

Oneida County currently has over 300 youth enrolled within 4-H.
