Seminar Offered on Division of Labor Standards

(Oriskany, NY) A Free Seminar for Employers will be held on December 10^th from 10AM-12:30PM at the Cornell Cooperative Extension 121 2^nd St Oriskany, NY 13424.  Representatives from the NYS Department of Labor, Syracuse office, will be on hand to discuss required labor regulations, including; fringe benefits, Certificate/Registration requirements, termination notice, record-keeping, required postings, and child labor laws for farm and nonfarm if applicable.

The last half hour of the seminar will be designated to issues related to, the recruiting of and working with an alternative labor force.

Please call for registration at 315/736-3394 x 104, as all registered participates will receive a CD with current labor issues, forms and additional information, provided by the NYS Department of Labor.
