Fine Arts, Food and Fun

Sauquoit, NY The 31st Annual Sauqoit Valley Fine-Arts and Crafts Show is being held Saturday Nov. 21 from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday Nov. 22 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Sauquoit Valley Middle School on Sulphur Springs Road in Sauquoit.

For more than 30 years, the Sauquoit Valley Fine-Arts and Crafts Show has been the place to find unique holiday gift ideas, homemade pies, holiday treats, and of course the quality fine-arts and crafts.

While this annual show is now under new direction, the tradition of the past 30 years is carried on with some fun additions. The show directly benefits all of the children in the Sauquoit Valley School District by paying for all the field trips taken and helping to fund various programs throughout the year.

New this year, the Sauquoit Valley PTO will unveil the show’s new logo – created by one of the students. The new logo will be featured in a scavenger hunt throughout the event. Participants have a chance to win one of three prize packages.

All are welcome to peruse the fine craftsmanship of more than 90 vendors, take in the wonderful scent of homemade holiday treats, and join in the fun and games.

The show will include a secure and entertaining childcare room with a do-it-yourself craft area. Older children can enjoy the magician, face painting, and clowns that will be roaming throughout the show.

Artists will be showcasing works in painting, photography, glass, pottery, woodworking, metal-smithing, textiles, knits and more. Tummy-rumbling gift ideas are in full demand with our various food vendors. Feast your eyes on the many baked goods, maple syrup, honey, salsas, nuts, herb mixes and much more. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s a great place to buy homemade holiday pies.

For more information concerning this event contact the Sauquoit Valley PTO Marketing and Promotions Chair Mrs. Jill Hayes at (315) 839-5594.
