As the Syracuse Crunch prepare to host the Binghamton Senators in the American Hockey League’s first-ever outdoor game, Saturday, February 20, at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, Mohawk Valley Community College’s Alumni Association is offering the college’s alumni the opportunity to buy discounted tickets to the game for $30 each. Alumni can reserve tickets by contacting Marie Kohl in the Office of Alumni Relations at mkohl@mvcc.edu or by calling (315) 792-5340.
The game, known as the Mirabito Outdoor Classic, will take place at 1 p.m. The first outdoor game in the AHL’s history will be part of a full day of youth hockey games and festivities. It has drawn intense interest from hockey fans and is nearing sellout capacity.
The MVCC Alumni tickets will save fans a $6.95 convenience charge per ticket and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until Monday, February 1, or until they are sold out, whichever comes first.
