More than 550 students participated in Mohawk Valley Community College’s May graduation ceremony, held Friday May 15.
A list of candidates who applied for graduation as of May 1 includes the following:

John P. Engell, AS, Liberal Arts & Sciences:General Studies
Jeremy D. Marcouiller, AAS, Mechanical Engineering Technology
Meghan E. Nolan, AAS, Nursing
Rebecca F. Strauss, AAS, Nursing
MVCC President Randall VanWagoner, Ph.D., presided over the ceremony. Dr. Maryrose Eannace, Vice President for Learning & Academic Affairs, presented the Class of 2009. Immaculée Ilibagiza delivered the Commencement address.
A reception on the College’s Utica Campus, for graduates and their families, and members of the College’s faculty and staff, followed the ceremony.
