Spring Landscape Maintenance: What Can I Do and How Will It Look
(Clinton, NY) The Hamilton College Arboretum Association will present a free workshop in March on the Hamilton campus. Spring Landscape Maintenance: What Can I Do and How Will It Look? will be the topic on Saturday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Kennedy Auditorium Science Center (G027).
Arboretum Director Terry Hawkridge and a team of College arborists will present a slide show on the outcomes of spring maintenance projects. Spring is the time for rejuvenation and bed maintenance. Sometimes it’s difficult to perform the needed practices for fear of not knowing the outcomes. This presentation follows early spring projects and shows the in-season outcomes of various procedures. Proper pruning techniques will be reviewed and arborists will be available to answer your questions on seasonal practices. ISA credits available.
This and all Arboretum Association events are free, open to the public and sponsored by the College and its Arboretum Association. Pre-registration is requested by calling (315) 859-4657.
Coming up:
· “How to Design Your Own Perennial Garden” featuring a slide presentation by Joan McDonald of the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens on Saturday, April 17, at 10 a.m.
