Girl Scout Teams Competing in LEGO Robotics Event Saturday

(Marcy, NY) The Holland Patent Girl Scout Team and Sauquoit Girl Scout Team will compete in the first Lego League Tournament at SUNY Institute of Technology in Marcy on Saturday Dec. 5 at noon.

The girls are designing the robot they are using for the competition with the LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. The girls will also program the robot to do a variety of tasks for The Robot Game.

The girls have spent months researching the theme, “Smart Moves,” and studying science and engineering to master the complex missions in The Robot Game.
