(Verona, NY) The top three squads in a Jeopardy-type game held during the Oneida Nation’s Team Member Holiday Party were each allowed to choose a charity to receive a $200 donation from the Oneida Nation Foundation.
Information Technology (IT) selected the Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association in Canastota.
“This contribution helps Wanderers’ Rest to house, heal and enrich the 2,000 animals we care for each year, and enables us to prepare as many our cats and dogs as possible for adoption,” said Executive Director Glenn H. Ivers.
The other charities were The Harry Snyder Scholarship Fund and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York.
