(Verona, NY) A prominent Syracuse restaurateur with nearly 40 years in the business has been named to lead Club two.one, a ritzy, private club with a panoramic view at the top of the 19-story Tower Hotel at Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
John Julian of Syracuse, who most recently oversaw the four fine dining restaurants at Turning Stone, has taken over the reins as operations manager for the high end Club two.one.
Prior to joining Turning Stone, Julian was a consultant for the Hilton Hotels Corporation in the New England region. Over the years, he owned and operated three restaurants in the Syracuse area: Pasta CeCe, The Chop House and Johnnie’s Open Hearth Restaurant.
Earlier in his career, he owned and operated Custom Catering in Syracuse and managed Scratch Daniels Restaurant in Syracuse.
Julian has a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University and a master’s degree in education from Syracuse University. He is an advanced instructor for ServSafe Alcohol and is a member of the Professional English Butler’s Guild. He has written curriculums and has taught how to deliver superior guest service and to handle guest complaints.
