Lorraine Hennings has been appointed to the new position of director of community relations for the Oneida Indian Nation. She oversees Editorial Services, Mail Room, Indian Country Outreach, Shako:wi Cultural Center, First Allies Living History Group and various special projects.
Hennings has been employed by the Oneida Nation since February 2001, first as a budget performance analyst and business analyst and, since October 2006, as executive project manager.
She attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning both a bachelor’s of science degree and a master’s degree in business administration.
Hennings resides in Newport, N.Y, with her husband and three children.
