(Verona, NY) The top three squads in a Jeopardy-type game held during the Oneida Nation’s Team Member Holiday Party were each allowed to choose a charity to receive a $200 donation from the Oneida Nation Foundation.
Turning Stone Security selected The Harry Snyder Scholarship Fund, which was founded in memory of a security supervisor at Turning Stone. The fund provides scholarships to high school seniors who plan to pursue higher education in either criminal justice or environmental sciences.
“We thank the security department for their continued support of the fund, allowing us to continue to provide valuable financial support to deserving students,” said Fund Co-chair Tracy Rozpad.
The other charities were Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association of Canastota and Syracuse-based Ronald McDonald Charities of CNY.
