Enjoy some extra playtime with your toddler by taking part in one of the activity programs being offered through Mohawk Valley Community College’s Center for Corporate and Community Education. Parents and children can swim and play games in the gym.
Toddler Gym and Swim: This class is designed especially for kids who have started walking up to age two. Parents and children will enjoy circle time with stories, songs, music, and instruments. Toddlers will also have the opportunity to run around a large gym, jump on exercise mats, and interact with other children. MVCC’s pool will be open until noon after each class for parents and children to enjoy. Ideal for children 12-24 months. The instructor is Danielle Marino. There are two sessions with the first running Fridays, September 25 through October 23, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The second session will run Fridays, October 30 through December 4, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The cost is $35.
Preschool Gym and Swim: This class is designed to offer preschoolers a little bit of everything. It’s a fun class that incorporates circle time with songs, stories, and instruments; gym time with games and exercise; and craft time. MVCC’s pool will be open until noon after each class for parents and children to enjoy. Ideal for children 2-5 years old. The instructor is Danielle Marino. Preschool Pool Play: This class offers parents and children a chance to play with toys and enjoy the water. A lifeguard will be on duty to promote safety and to play a few games and sing some songs. Parents have the freedom to come and go as they feel comfortable; a parent or responsible adult must accompany each child at all times. This program will run Mondays and Wednesdays, October 26 through November 30, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $30.

All MVCC non-credit instruction is completely self-supporting, including indirect costs, and requires no public funding.
