On Saturday October 24, 2009 at approximately 4:30 a.m., the State Police in Remsen responded to a one car property damage automobile accident at the intersection of Korber Road and State Route 365 in the town of Trenton.
Investigation revealed the driver, Steven M. Schneible, 35 years old, of Holland Patent was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Impala south on Korber Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of State Route 365. Schneible struck and severed a utility pole.
Schneible was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Schneible is to be arraigned in the town of Trenton Court.
