(Durhamville) Pictured is the old Durhamville Union School, closed in 1959. The 50th anniversary of the old school closing and the new Durhamville Elementary School opening on Main Street was celebrated during the third annual Durhamville Day held in the hamlet on Aug. 16
Also shown is the Durhamville Fire Department’s fleet of trucks. The fire department held a chicken barbecue, selling all 250 half-chicken dinners during the event.
