(Sylvan Beach, NY – August 13, 2009) – State Police in Sylvan Beach are currently looking for a missing 16 year old from Oneida County.
The missing person is Matthew A. Saunders of 6125 Walker Rd Durhamville, NY.
Saunders left home on August 12, 2009 at about 1PM, supposedly to go fishing, and he has not had contact with his family since that time. Saunders is 6′ 2″ tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts and a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey. He was riding a maroon bicycle.
At this time, the State Police investigation has revealed that Saunders may be en route to Arkansas to visit a friend there. Anyone with any information regarding Matthew Saunders or his whereabouts is asked to call the State Police at 315-762-4441.
