State Police Arrest Bridgewater Couple on Child Endangerment Charges

(Bridgewater, NY – Dec. 8, 2009) On December 7, 2009, State Police in Marcy BCI and Uniform patrols arrested, 32 year-old, Mark A. Carpenter from 33 Renzo Drive Bridgewater and 31 year-old, Michele L. Neff same address as the result of an investigation initiated by Oneida County Child Protective Services.

Mark A. Carpenter was charged with one count of Assault 2nd Degree and one count Endangering the Welfare Child. He was arraigned and remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $7500.00 cash bail. He is to reappear in the Town of Bridgewater court on 12/14/09 at 7pm.

Michele L. Neff was also charged with one count Endangering the Welfare of a Child and she was issued an Appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Bridgewater court on 12/14/09 at 7pm.

Both arrests stem from an investigation into the physical injury of a 13 yr old child.
