(Lee, NY) On September 10th, at approximately 9:37PM, the State Police in Lee arrested Larry W. LaGasse, 50, of Sulphur Springs Rd., Lee Center, for Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest stemmed from a complaint of harassment that originated at the Teugega Country Club in Rome where LaGasse got into a vehicle, and followed behind the complainant’s vehicle until being stopped by a State Police patrol on Elmer Hill Rd in Lee.
Subsequent to the traffic stop, it was determined that LaGasse was driving while intoxicated. LaGasse was processed and was found to have a blood alcohol content level of .23% (more the double the legal limit). He was issued traffic tickets returnable in the Town of Lee Court on October 7th at 4PM.
