(Boonville, NY – September 30, 2009) Stanley G. Widrick, a 57 year old man from Croghan New York, was arrested for Unlawfully fleeing a police officer 3rd, Reckless Endangerment, and numerous vehicle and traffic offenses.
Widrick was observed traveling 84 mph in a 55 mph zone while passing vehicles in a no passing zone traveling south on State Route 12 in the Town of Boonville. He failed to comply and continued on State Route 12. Widrick struck a vehicle that had pulled over onto the shoulder of the roadway and then struck two mail boxes. He traveled approximately 50 feet before his vehicle stopped due to the damage from the accident.
Widrick was taken into custody and to SP Remsen for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Boonville court and committed to Oneida County jail.
