(Paris, NY – March 13, 2010) Troopers Christopher Tucker and Michael Nackley, Marcy responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow on St-12 in the Town of Paris.

When responding, Troopers located the 1999 Kia and no one was with the vehicle. As the Troopers were attempting to locate the driver of the vehicle they observed a 1996 Jeep Cherokee southbound on St-12 at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver Joseph Pare, 22, of Waterville was found to be intoxicated.

Pare was taken to State Police in Waterville where he was administered a breath test with a result of a BAC of.18 percent.

Pare was charged with Aggravated DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree and Speeding. He is to return to the Town of Paris court on April 26, 2010 at 4:00 PM.

Further investigation by the Troopers revealed that Pare was en-route to pick up the driver of the car that was stuck in the snow bank. The Troopers responded back to the original scene and discovered the operator Brandon Teuscher, 26, also of Waterville attempting to have the car winched out by a local tow company. Upon interviewing Teuscher he was also found to be intoxicated.

He was taken to State Police Waterville where he was administered a Breath Test with a result of a BAC of.14 percent. Teuscher was charged with DWI and unsafe speed and he also is to return to the Town of Paris court on April 12, 2010 at 4:00 PM.

M3P Media, LLC, has signed a release for its new publication, Madison County Courier, to be used as prop or set dressing for the highly anticipated movie “Knockout.”

“We are thrilled to be a very small part of a very big movie,” said Mike Bova, publisher of M3P Media, LLC.

According to promoters, the film stars mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano as Mallory Kane, a young, tough, beautiful freelance covert operative. She is hired out by her handler, Kenneth, to various global entities to perform jobs that governments can’t authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. For all her looks and youth, Mallory is still the best in her field, and her skills are in constant demand.

After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Kenneth quickly dispatches Mallory on another mission to Dublin. There she partners with another operative, the suave and debonair Paul. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double-crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family and exact revenge on those that have betrayed her.

According to information on IMDb.com, producers have signed actors Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewen McGregor and Channing Tatum, to name a few.

Knockout, which is filming now, is being directed by Steven Soderbergh, who also directed “Erin Brockovich” and “Ocean’s Eleven.”

The movie is expected to be released sometime next year.
