DWI Arrest

     On August 12, 2009, the State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested Thomas J. Dixon, age 49, of 7420 Vienna Rd Blossvale NY for DWI.  He was arrested subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on SR 13 in the Town of Verona and had a %BAC of .14%. He is to appear in the Town of Verona court on 09/29/09 at 5:30 p.m.

DWI Arrest

     On August 9, 2009, the State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested Matthew T. Migon, age 28, of 7840 Yager Rd Blossvale NY for Aggravated DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd.   He was arrested subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on Vienna Rd in the Village of Sylvan Beach and had a %BAC of .21%. He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Sylvan Beach court on 09/24/09 at 4:00 p.m.

Canastota man arrested after purchasing alcohol while using the ID of someone else

On 8/21/09, the State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested Mark A. Merrell,(20)of 119 Canal St Canastota, NY for Criminal Impersonation 2nd. The defendant was arrested following an investigation where it was discovered he purchased alcohol from Harpoon Eddie’s using a driver’s license which did not belong to him. Defendant was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Sylvan Beach court on August 27th, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.

Baldwinsville man arrested in Sylvan Beach for DWI

On 8/22/09, the State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested Richard G. Schad, (49) of 8407 Zenith Dr Baldwinsville, NY for DWI. Schad was arrested following a vehicle and traffic stop on Akehurst Ave in the Village of Sylvan Beach, after he was observed driving the wrong way down a one way street. Schad was processed at SP Sylvan Beach, and was released on traffic tickets to appear in the Village of Sylvan Beach Court on 09/24/09 at 4:00 p.m.

Speeding ticket leads to DWI arrest

On 08/22/09, The State Police in Lee, NY arrested Matthew A. Lane (28), of 9644 Glenmore Rd., Annsville, NY for driving while intoxicated. The arrest was subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop for speeding on Kimball Rd in the Town of Vienna. Lane submitted to a chemical test with the results being .13% Blood Alcohol Content. Lane was issued traffic tickets which are returnable to the Town of Vienna Court on September 1, 2009 at 4:30 PM.

Taberg Man arrested for Aggravated DWI after leaving the scene of an auto accident

On 8/22/09, the State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested Timothy W. Harrington, (20) of Meadows Rd Taberg, NY for Aggravated DWI. Harrington had a reportable blood alcohol level of .18%, more than double the legal limit. He was processed at SP Sylvan Beach, and also issued traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident, failure to keep right, crossed hazardous markings and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle 2nd. Harrington was released, and is to appear in the Town of Vienna Court on 09/22/09 at 4:30 p.m.
