Fritz’s Polka Band to perform at three venues on Dyngus Day

(Verona, NY) Jagermeister-sponsored, Fritz’s Polka Band (FPB) from Verona will perform a triple gig on Monday, April 5 to celebrate Dyngus Day.  FPB will start the day’s festivities at The Broadway Market (999 Broadway) in Buffalo from noon to 3pm.

FPB will then play at Fairgrounds Gaming (5600 McKinley Parkway) in Hamburg from 5pm to 9pm.

FPB will wrap up the Dyngus Day festivities in a special way, as not only will they be performing at Mickiewicz (612 Fillmore Ave.) in Buffalo from 10:30pm to 1am, it’ll also be a Jagermeister party with the Jagerettes.

“We’ve performed three gigs in one day before,” said Fritz Scherz, bandleader of Fritz’s Polka Band.  “I remember how much fun it was to play that much in one day and really look forward to doing so for Dyngus Day, as I realize how special this day is, especially in the Buffalo area.  We’ve done Dyngus Day gigs in that area before and I’ve always been impressed by seeing sometimes three different generations of people in the audience.  And, having a Jagermeister party taking place during at our last gig of the day, well actually night, it’s definitely a nice way to conclude the Dyngus Day festivities!”
