(March 18, 2010) AAA New York announced that Tallman’s Tires of Utica and Yorkville have been selected to become AAA Approved Service facilities.
Regional General Manager, Ed Welsh said, “We are excited and pleased that Tallman’s Tires is joining the AAA Approved Service family. Locally we have over 60,000 AAA members that need quality service. For over 30 years, Tallman’s Tires has been a leader in tire sales and service in the Utica area.”
Tallman’s Tires has two locations in the Utica area – 1719 Genesee St in South Utica and 5176 Commercial Drive in Yorkville. Tallman’s is a full line tire dealer that sells and services Goodyear, Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin, BF Goodrich, Continental and Dayton tires. Tallman’s also specializes in Alignment, Suspension and Brake work as well as general maintenance services. Both Tallman’s Utica and Yorkville locations are open Mon – Fri 7:30am – 5:30pm and 8:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday.
Tallman’s two locations bring the total of local AAA Approved Repair or Service facilities to 11 in AAA New York’s Central Region which is comprised of the Greater Utica area and Herkimer County. AAA has been approving repair and service facilities locally since 1985.
AAA New York, founded in 1901, is a fully taxpaying, not-for-profit motor club corporation. About 76,000 AAA members live in the upstate New York Regions and are part of the over 1.5 million members in the club’s total territory, all within New York State. AAA New York is one of five clubs in New York State and is a member of the AAA/CAA national organization, a federation of 60 clubs which serve over 50 million members in the United States and Canada.
