Prohibition Party to Aid St. Elizabeth Medical Center Equipment Purchases

(Utica, NY) St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation and F.X. Matt Brewery will hold the 2nd Annual Prohibition Party, sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Empower Federal Credit Union, and Dr. Greg Orlando. The event will be held on Friday, April 9 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the historic F.X. Matt Brewing Co.

Tickets cost $30 per person if purchased by March 31, and $35 per person if purchased April 1 or later. Admission includes Saranac beverages, hors d’oeuvres, dessert, live entertainment, and a silent auction with exclusive prizes. Local musicians Lawless, Strung Sideways, Pianoman and Co., Gary Johnson, and Crushing June will perform throughout the Brewery. Only adults age 21 and over may attend.   Fifty percent of the ticket price is a tax-deductible contribution to the Medical Center Foundation.

“We anticipate selling out early for the event again this year.  I encourage anyone that would like to enjoy a great time while benefiting the Medical Center to purchase their tickets today,” said Andrea LaGatta, Director of Development.

Proceeds from this year’s event will support the many initiatives underway at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, including the purchase of life-saving equipment. A 64-slice CT scanner, digital mammography, and ultrasound equipment will be purchased for the Medical Center, as well as for the new St. Elizabeth Medical Arts building located on Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford.
